Our interdisciplinary team has constructed, tested, and synthesized preliminary data on the thermal performance of our six distinct bat house designs. Although the data may look busy, the reduction in thermal amplitude, and the flattening of the sigmoidal diurnal curves shows thermal performance inline with our the project goals. As well, the InsolCorp materials are performing ideally. Longer term prototype testing is set to begin at the end of the week to evaluate thermal gain from ambient and solar contributions. Please reference the flattening trend between hour 12 and 24 as the system stabilizes for the PCM prototype (thicker brown line). Drastic changes from the classic thermal cycling are associated to bat houses without additional insulation. (The error bars represent SE)
